Appreciating the little things

Hello lovelies,
I have something a little bit different today, so I had to run the doctors today #SickLife and my local park is right next to it, so I thought why not kill two birds with one stone, so I brought my camera along and took some pictures! I think it is important, definitely now as I am growing up, to find time to just take a break once in a while and smell the roses - as they say! And I find that I am calmer in open and natural spaces like a beach for example but as I don't have one close to me, I settle for the next best thing which is a park!

Although I am I guilty of sometimes overlooking beautiful little things, as I am consumed with social media, sixth form and just life; I think now than ever we should just enjoy what life throws at us and never take for granted people! As I think regret has the same impact on a individual as guilt. So cherish the people you love, never take them for granted and let them know! Also if you want to avoid taking things for granted, put yourself out there and grasp opportunities as trust me (I am taking from experience) and its the best feeling! Now I am not taking about doing grand gestures to someone you just met as that would be very creepy, or starting a blog or youtube (as I know it can sound daunting) but maybe wearing those leather trousers you have always wanted to wear but been to scared or auditioning for a school play, you have always wanted to act in, but been to shy too; whatever it maybe it can only go two ways - 1. It may not go the way you wanted it to but you learn from it and grow more confident as a result (as you have proved to yourself  that you can do it)  or 2. Maybe something amazing happens and it is even more fantastic than you ever imagined! 7

So just take a chance because you never know what might happen.
Until next time lovelies,

David Bailey Stardust: Exclusive Review

Hello gorgeous people,
Recently I watched David Bailey's Sky Atlantic documentary on his world renowned photography collection, which I absolutely LOVE as I am always interested in finding anything that is to do with the fashion and entertainment industry (and this definitely does the trick!). Why I love this documentary and why I really REALLY want to see his exhibition is because he is such a natural, normal and honest type of guy, on and I can imagine off screen too! His relaxed attitude teamed up with his amazing and long list of stars he has photographed, makes this guy not only a legend but an inspiration and someone I would love to interview - if I had the opportunity! Also if you haven't watched We'll Take Manhattan a film based on David and Jean Shrimpton's relationship on and off screen than definitely do, as I watched it when it first came on BBC and really enjoyed it!

Also if you have watched an fashioney films definitely tell me- as I am always on the look out

LFW Favourites

Hello fashionista's,
I know I am a bit late, but better late than never eh?! So the designers I have chosen are ones who have really stood out to me this year, which were Alice Temperley, Topshop Unique, Vivienne Westwood and Julien MacDonald.

First and foremost, I have to include Topshop Unique (I mean I reviewed their virtual show so it would be rude not too!) But honestly I really love the layered look, as I am an advocate of a chunky knit, knee high boots and the layered look, I mean look how cute it is!

Why I love Alice Temperley A/W 2014 are because of these 3 reasons: she is an alumni of UAL so she knows her fashion, her collections this year is sooo beautiful and elegant with gorgeous patterns and colours - I love the blue and white combo and finally I love the figure flattering lines on each ensemble!

The next beauty I love is Vivienne Westwood: Red Label 2014, even though I think it should be 80's as the styles definitely does remind me of it, with the use of tartan and pin-stripes. This ready-to-wear collection is definitely suitable for every woman, no matter what taste and I mean who can resist Westwood!

Julien MacDonald is the final collection, and oh do I LOVE this gorgeous collection. The outfits make the women look and probably feel like Goddesses, with use of sequins, lace and metallic.

I hope you enjoyed this fashion post
Until next time

Creative Moments : Liam Nolan @ Oxygen Models

Hello lovelies,
I have the second instalment of Creative Moments with the gorgeous Liam from Oxygen (I do treat you lovelies don't I?!). In this interview, Liam lets us in on how model life hasn't changed him and his cheeky moment on set Jamie Winston!

Name: Liam Nolan
Age: 16
Occupation: Model (PT) and Sports Masseuse.

What does a normal day consist of?
I usually start my day with a run just to keep fit then head in to tow for either castings or a shoot. I have just finished my training as sports massage therapist so I occasionally have clients too; and in the evenings I train again at a thaiboxing gym where I also teach.

How long have you been a model?
I started modelling when I was around 13 with select models so about 3 years.

Is this something you always wanted to do? If not, what was your ideal profession?
Not at first I probably wouldn't even be doing it, if I wasn't introduced to it but I started enjoying it once I got in to it.

Who have you modelled for?
Various magazines but the biggest name I have modelled for is probably BHS.

What’s the best moment of your career so far?
I did a video with Jamie Winston when I was only 14 and it was supposed to be a really sexy sorta thing, where she had to lather herself up with soap, so I was a little bit shy but it was a lot of fun to shoot.

Who is your favourite designer?
I'm not big on designer to be honest even though I'm a model.

What brand most consumes your wardrobe?
Well I'm only a teenager so probably Topman.

What item can't you live without? (eg.clothes or book or phone)
My iPad only had it a month but I'm addicted to it.

If you could be one person for the day, who would it be and why?
Wouldn't mind being Keith lemon for the day, just so I can't say what I want and get away with it.

Last but not least, where do you see yourself in 5-10 years? (Career-wise)
I would like to either be a successful model or own a chain of worldwide gyms.

So I hope you have enjoyed this interview with Liam,
and there is a lot more install for Creative Moments,
until next time
